Letter from ICA President

Dear ICA Members:

Domainer Meeting Paris and ICANN Paris

ICA at TRAFFIC Orlando

Dear Members and Subscribers:

Last week I attended TRAFFIC in Orlando for Internet Commerce Association. It was nice for a change to not have to travel to a conference. The conference was a great success despite a smaller than usual attendance. At TRAFFIC Orlando, ICA held its first meeting for members. We had a private room provided by TRAFFIC for a breakfast meeting. The meeting for members went over well and ICA will plan to meet at all major domain conferences going forward. Thank you to Rick and Howard for the

ICA at Upcoming Meetings

Dear ICA Members and Newsletter Subscribers:

The Snowe bill has not moved out of sub-committee nor does it seem to be gaining significant momentum in this presidential election year. However, we are still being vigilant. I am still trying to get a commitment from Senator Nelson to meet with Florida domainers, hopefully in Miami.

Dear ICA Members and Newsletter Subscribers:

What a week it has been. After I posted on Rick Schwartz board regarding my disappointment about the amount of financial support that Internet Commerce Association has received since the Snowe bill was introduced, a lot has happened. Until my post, I think that a lot of people were resting comfortably assuming that this battle was being fought and funded by others.

ICA Benefit Domain Auction

At TRAFFIC Miami, the proceeds of two auctioned domains were generously donated to Internet Commerce Association (ICA). These domain auctions raised $1,800 for our organization, with limited advance publicity. At the upcomingTRAFFIC Las Vegas, Moniker and TRAFFIC have again generously offered to donate their services and the proceeds from the sale five premium domain names. This means that 100 percent of the sale price of the donated domains goes directly to ICA to help protect your domain investments from bad policy and legislation.
