With a heavy heart, we share the sad news of the passing of one of our members, Jason Sheppard. More than just a member of the ICA community, Jason was a vital pillar of our community, kind, helpful and accessible.
Jason’s participation at ICA Dinners during NamesCon and his presence at both Vegas ICA meetings made him a familiar and beloved face in our community. Those lucky to have spent time with him, whether during a shared hike or over casual drinks and a bite, would agree that a conversation with Jason was never just chit-chat, it was always full of his unique insights and interesting perspectives.
The effort Jason put into setting up and running the audio system for our second Vegas meeting stands as a testament to his generous spirit. Many of you may not even know about his behind-the-scenes contributions, as he was the kind of person who would help without seeking any limelight.
Our thoughts go out to Jason’s family and loved ones during this challenging time. We hope that they find some comfort in knowing how loved and respected he was in our community and that his legacy will continue to live on in the many lives he touched.
His absence will undoubtedly leave a void in our industry and community. Jason, you will be missed dearly by those of us who were lucky to know you.
